Learn to Read Grade 1 Program
(next availability 2008-09)

The music-based phonics program in the Ready to Read level is continued and built upon with repetition, fresh stories and applications to real life. Children readily remember the sounds and letters and generally begin sounding words within a few months. Printing and proper letter formation are emphasized. Sight words are introduced and Math skills developed further. Scripture memorization continues throughout the program. Along with lots of creative opportunities and free play time, children gain valuable skills and confidence.
